We believe that when technology design, creation, and investment includes diverse perspectives and is harnessed to address societal challenges, we can collectively transform the technology ecosystem and improve conditions to better reflect future opportunities for Black, Indigenous, Latinx communities, and society as a whole.

The Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) is a nonprofit organization, established in 1981, dedicated to furthering the expansion of college opportunities for low-income, first-generation students, and students with disabilities in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., the Pacific Islands, and Puerto Rico. Its membership includes more than 1,000 colleges and agencies. Through its numerous membership services, the Council works in conjunction with colleges, universities, and agencies to help low-income students enter college and graduate. Over a million low-income students and students with disabilities each year receive college access and retention services through our member colleges and agencies.

The Foundation achieves impact through the delivery of professional development programs for teachers, K16 digital skills learning platforms, partnerships with leading nonprofits, and innovative media campaigns that inspire everyone to be creators, not just consumers, of technology.

The CSforALL Alliance aims to foster equitable CS education by raising awareness of inclusive practices, building member capacity towards broadening participation in computing, and using data to assess impact.

Mouse Design League is a hands-on Computer Science and Technology Education course for middle and high school students. Students enter the program with little or no coding education and leave with core technology and computational thinking skills, accelerated SEL growth, and a practical understanding of how to access meaningful careers in tech.

The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is the home of the Hopper-Dean Center of Excellence in K-12 Computer Science (CS) Education, an endowed center dedicated to advancing K-12 CS education. Located on the U.S. border with Mexico, UTEP's student demographics mirror those of its community with over 85% of its population of Hispanic origin. The Hopper-Dean Center manages a grant from the National Science Foundation that recruits CS degree holders who become NSF Teaching Fellows, receiving a master's degree in education and CS teacher certification. Each of the NSF Teaching Fellows commit to teaching a minimum of four years in El Paso area schools.

Technology Education and Learning Support (TEALS) is a Microsoft Philanthropies program that builds sustainable computer science (CS) programs in high schools. We focus on serving students excluded from learning CS because of race, gender, or geography. TEALS helps teachers learn to teach CS by pairing them with industry volunteers and proven curricula.

CYBER.ORG's goal is to empower educators as they prepare the next generation to succeed in the cyber workforce of tomorrow.

Our commitment to fostering exploration starts early, with resources tailored to middle school students. Our rich courseware catalog and Learning Blade resource, supplemental mission-based lessons, have a proven track record of expanding STEM, computer science, and career interest and awareness.

BootUp Professional Development, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, helps districts implement elementary computer science initiatives through long-term professional development (PD), model teaching, coaching, curricula, and Professional Learning Community (PLC) support. BootUp works closely with each district to create a custom initiative. Then provides the PD, curriculum, and support to create a complete and sustainable elementary coding program. Through ongoing professional development and mentoring, BootUp equips teachers with the experience and resources to be successful, confident coding teachers.

Teachers learn how to engage students through easy-to-use, block-based programming languages. Students create and share interactive stories, animations, games, art, music, and more through problem solving and other fundamental computer science concepts and practices (based on the K12 CS Framework and CSTA Standards). No prior coding experience is required and BootUp’s support includes a free, interest-driven curriculum with more than 70 class projects (and more to come in the future) for grades K-6.

The Forward Education product ecosystem is designed to make teaching coding and computer science easy for educators of any experience level.

Education in the United States is an inherently local endeavor, and computer science (CS) education must rely on local actors and decision-makers in order to reach every learner. Building on insights from our successful programs serving school districts (via SCRIPT) and communities (EcoSystemsforCS), CSforALL is embarking on a new strategic initiative focused on accelerating high-need communities in their progress towards fundamental standards-aligned CS education for all learners, and increased access to interest-driven CS learning opportunities. The CSforALL Accelerator Program will impact up to 10 communities per cohort, with an intended reach of 2.5 million of our nation’s youth who currently lack access to equitable CS education by the end of five years.

The SCRIPT: Strategic CSforALL Planning Tool for School Districts 

The SCRIPT — the Strategic CSforALL Resource & Implementation Planning Tool — is a framework to guide teams of district administrators, school leaders, and educators through a series of collaborative visioning, self-assessment and goal-setting exercises to create or expand upon a computer science education implementation plan for their students. School districts and other local education organizations are the unit of change toward creating rigorous, inclusive and sustainable K-12 computer science education. The SCRIPT supports systems-level change by addressing five key areas: (1) Leadership, (2) Teacher Capacity and Development, (3) Curriculum and Materials Selection and Refinement, (4) Partners, and (5) Community.

Through sales, paid advertising, experiential marketing and earned media, Visit Milwaukee promotes the region as a premier destination for business and leisure travel. We are the only local organization solely dedicated to marketing Milwaukee on a national and international scale. We do that by highlighting and promoting our businesses, venues, facilities and family attractions. By telling the story of what our amazing city and region have to offer. By hosting tours and influencer events. And by traveling around the country to bring Milwaukee to meeting and event planners. Even our little brother in Illinois took notice. As part of our experiential leisure marketing campaign, Visit Milwaukee took over Union Station in Chicago to make sure Chicagoland residents knew the best summer festivals are just a train ride away. And the 2024 Republican National Convention, an event that will bring a global audience and more than $200 million to our hotels, restaurants and bars over the course of a week.

Keeping with the desire to make STEAM learning engaging at all levels, the pi-top team has been working with educators from around the world, to better understand their needs and how we can help serve them. 

Beginning at the K-12 student-level, all the way through to advanced computer science concepts, we have developed courses, challenges and teaching material to assist learning, which can be paired with all our products or in some instances, can be followed on their own. 

Further, is our lesson library that stores over 150 hours of computer science and STEAM courses, as well as features to help with classroom management, virtual learning and so much more!

We are Members of the U.S. House of Representatives hosting district-wide Congressional App Challenges for middle school and high school students, encouraging them to learn to code and inspiring them to pursue careers in computer science.

Every year we challenge students in our districts to create and submit their original apps for a chance to win the Congressional App Challenge (CAC). Each challenge is district-specific. As U.S. Representatives we publicly recognize our winning teams and each winning app may be put on display in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year. Additional prizes may be available. The Congressional Internet Caucus initiates the annual CAC. We have appointed the non-profit Internet Education Foundation to provide the CAC with supplemental staffing and support.
