
CSforALL Summit 2018
Monday, October 8, 2018 - Thursday, October 11, 2018The CSforALL Summit is a multi-day convening focused on rigorous, inclusive and sustainable computer science for all US students. There are audience-specific workshops and events for specific stakeholder groups, and a live-streamed plenary celebration open to all. Due to limited space and participant curation, registration is offered on an invitational basis for a number of the events. Here is an overview of the CSforALL Summit 2018:

We are excited to partner with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) as they co-locate their inaugural standalone CS event with the CSforALL Summit. This event is designed to serve the “next wave of CS” teachers—educators focused on integrating CS and computational thinking across the curriculum in grades 3-8 through hands-on experiences and workshops. Working Summit on Computer Science in Out of School Time - Monday, Oct 8 A first-of-its-kind working summit for those integrating CSforALL in afterschool, summer, libraries, museums and other out-of-school time spaces. Invited participants will spend the day developing a shared understanding of CSforALL, learning from promising practices, and creating a blueprint that encompasses next step strategies for public awareness, promising practices, research and evaluation, and public policy. Leveling Up State Leadership for CS Education Similar to ECEP annual meetings, where state teams participate in working groups both with their individual teams and with leaders, this state working group meeting will allow a broader group of state leaders to engage with new ideas and advance state strategy.
